There are 5 ways for you to win…

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Click Here to Learn How to Generate FREE Leads!!!

I'm sure when you finish reading this you will be seriously be asking yourself, "which type of winning am I?"
1: You win when you’re comfortable. This person’s primary goal is to just go through life as comfortably as possible. They don’t want stress. They don’t want to be pushed or challenged. They don’t like conflict. The just want to go through life on cruise control, hanging out with their friends, and having a good time. Everything they do is designed to support their pursuit of comfort.

This is your average, life-long employee who’s more than happy to have a safe, stable, comfortable job.

If you push this person away from that goal, and challenge them or their routine lifestyle, watch out.

2: You win by being liked. This person’s primary goal in life is to be liked by others. They want acceptance from everyone, and will do just about anything to reach that goal. They’d rather be liked, than be right or wrong.

When you put someone like this in a leadership role, the business will usually fail because they won’t be willing to make hard decisions that would anger someone. They would try to please everyone all the time because their ultimate motivation is to be liked by others.

3: You win by being right. This person is usually an expert in a specific field like a professor, lawyer, or a wife. (Just kidding ladies! ?). People who win by being right, don’t accept criticism and aren’t open to new ideas.

They tend to reach a glass ceiling when it comes to money, their career, and relationships, because they can’t accept their short-comings in order to move past them and achieve personal growth. Arguing with this person never works because they’ll always find a way to prove you wrong, even if it means sabotaging your company in the process.

In order to win, this person must be right.

4: You win by winning. This person is an achiever. Their primary motivation is to win. They are very competitive, and will do whatever it takes to win. They won’t quit, and they’ll constantly push themselves to gain the edge they need.

This category describes all successful entrepreneurs and athletes. Winning is their reward, and on the dark side, some of them will go too far and compromise their integrity in order to do so. Key Lay of Enron is a great example.

This type of person doesn’t care if others don’t like them, and they welcome discomfort because it provides them with new opportunities to win.

This is how Ben Brandes wins, and looking at my past, this is how I win… I win, by winning. I am constantly evaluating and improving myself, and will do whatever it takes, (with integrity), to be the best. Period.

5: You win by losing. This person wins by being a victim. They want sympathy from others or their spouse. Just when things start to get better, they will sabotage themselves, and say, “I knew it wouldn’t work”, giving them their victory once again.

Their lives are always filled with problems because they don’t win unless they lose, so they create circumstances and excuses that help them fulfill that destiny like, “Your book won’t teach me anything new. I don’t have the money. This is just another scam. I’ll give it a try…”

Now if you’re like me when I was exposed to this, you’re taking a long hard look at your life right now.

There are people who are not wealthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are not healthy because they want to be comfortable. There are people who are stuck in the same job without a promotion for 10 years because they want to be liked. There are people who are addicted to struggle because they win by losing.

And most likely, you see a little of yourself in each of these categories.
I know I do, but what’s important to remember, is that winning is a continuous process that is brought to an end once you’ve won, which is an event.

As soon as you’ve “won”, the process starts all over again.

Happy Winning!!!!

Man Marketing Out, Female Marketing is In!

Gone are the days where companies would say, "You should buy this or You should buy that" to sell something.

This masculine style of Marketing is increasingly becoming less and less effective, paving the way for a much more authentic style of marketing that is characteristic of females.

Yes that's right, you heard me.

Females are now the leaders in the marketing industry.

Why do you think 70% of Network Marketers are female?

It's because the style they use is much more effective in today's society.

So whats the difference?

Put simply,

Men have the mindset:

"You must crush the competition."

"You must wipe out all competitors."

Meanwhile,

Women have the mindset.

"How can I work with my competition so that we both win."

Or

What is the best approach I can take to understand the needs of my competition so that they can understand the needs of me and together we can both win.

Basically, Women are more understanding than men and are givers.

Whilst men just want to take, take, take!

Next time you are planning your marketing campaigns think about whether it is masculine or feminine.

Until next time.

Mindset - Getting clear on what you want!

For some people the concept on becoming clear on what you really want is a hard one. Some people automatically know what they want in their life or what they are aiming for. Little do they know that their description isn’t as in depth as it should be.

Now this topic has a close relation to setting goals but is slightly different. I want you to imagine for a second, what are the main things you want to achieve in life? Now it may take awhile to really decide on the main things you want to achieve.

When you are thinking about what you want you may want to take several things into consideration. Such as your budget, whether you work full time or part time, your family commitments, etc. Even if you only have say an hour a day to work towards what you want, that is perfectly fine.

When I first started Network Marketing I had school Monday to Friday and I worked every afternoon after school. The only time I had to work towards what I wanted was before I went to bed. Now that only gave me about 1 or 2 hours a day and sometimes as little as 30 minutes.

Now how I achieved this was every Monday night I would draw up a little schedule which I tried my hardest to follow. Each night I completed what I had set out to do, and if I hadn’t I would just carry it over to the next day. It didn’t really matter if I had to carry it over a night, the overall result in the end was the same.

I suggest next time you have some spare time go for a walk, jog or do something that can relax your mind, and while you are doing these things think about what you really want to achieve out of everything you are doing.

An example of this could be, you are on a walk at 7am and you are interested in Network Marketing. Now while you are thinking you could have the thought that you want to gain a higher monthly income and Network Marketing could help you achieve this.

Then start thinking of ways you could do this, whether it be Affiliate Marketing, or starting your own small online business which one day would sell a product or service.

After you have found out what you really want to achieve I suggest that you write down everything you want. Now with your list of what you want to achieve place it somewhere you will see it everyday.

By doing this it will remind you of what you really want motivating you to work towards it.

Personally I made more than one copy, I have one taped to my mirror for when I brush my teeth, one on my bedroom door and one next to my computer. Every time I see the list it motivates me to do more and more to accomplish what I want.

There may be a few people who will say “You can’t achieve that, you don’t have the (time/money/will power).” But believe me when I say this, if you really want something and you work towards it you can achieve anything. Everything takes a certain amount of effort; it’s not going to appear overnight.

Now I want you to keep working towards what you want to achieve and never give up until you are completely satisfied. You have to prove everyone that doubts you wrong. It is the best feeling in the world, trust me on that.

How to push through the bumps and achieve your success!

When people first started calling me asking for help with their network marketing opportunity to make money online I realised I was going too fast.

There were certain things I needed to cover which I didn’t realise at first. I’m the kind of guy who just likes to get to the meat of the information straight away. What I realised was that the people I was mentoring were really keen, listened and then took action.

Somewhere along the line, a lot of them just stopped. At first I didn’t understand… what I was teaching them works yet, it seemed as soon as something got a little hard or they hit a little bump in the road they just stopped.

So now when I mentor people the first thing I ask is what do you want to achieve and why. I get them to be really specific on WHY they want it. I call this their “why factor”.

You see, there are always going to be bumps along the way, the people who have a strong why factor are the ones who see the success.

If you want something enough no matter what happens you will never give up and always keep pushing through the bumps along the way.

Mindset is so important, if you believe you can get through all the bumps you will. There were times when I thought about quitting, my "why factor" kept me going and gave me the inspiration to push through the bumps.

What I recommend everyone to do is find your “why factor”. If you could have ANYTHING in the world what would you want? What would you do? Who would you be with? Where would you be?

When you have found your why factor you will then have the determination to push through the bumps along the road.

If you look at all the successful people in the world, they all had bumps along the way; it was their why factor that kept them going. They knew they wanted something and they were willing to keep going until they got there!

My “why factor” keeps me going and every time I reach a goal I make a new one that’s even bigger. Remember to break up your goals into little achievable steps.

The big key is also to celebrate every success! Even the little ones!

What are you waiting for? Go find out your “why factor” why do you want success? How will you know when you have achieved what you want? Where will you be? Who will you be with? What will you be doing?

Have a big hard think and let me know what your “why factor” is, I’d love to know!

What do You Know? (36 Tips You will want to know)

As a Marketer it's a never ending learning game. The industry is always changing and you have to keep up with that change.

Thanks to Seth Godin I have compiled a list with a few of my own extra bits that will help you determine how much you know.

(I even put it in alphabetical order)

  1. Advertising is just a symptom, a tactic. Marketing is about far more than that.
  2. Anticipated, personal and relevant advertising always does better than unsolicited junk.
  3. Blogging makes you a better marketer because it teaches you humility in your writing.
  4. Business to business marketing is just marketing to consumers who happen to have a corporation to pay for what they buy.
  5. Choose your customers. Fire the ones that hurt your ability to deliver the right story to the others.
  6. Conversations among the members of your marketplace happen whether you like it or not. Good marketing encourages the right sort of conversations.
  7. Effective stories match the worldview of the people you are telling the story to.
  8. Good marketers measure.
  9. Good marketers tell a story.
  10. If you are marketing from a fairly static annual budget, you’re viewing marketing as an expense. Good marketers realize that it is an investment.
  11. In the Google world, the best in the world wins more often, and wins more.
  12. Living and breathing an authentic story is the best way to survive in an conversation-rich world.
  13. Low price is a great way to sell a commodity. That’s not marketing, though, that’s efficiency.
  14. Making promises and keeping them is a great way to build a brand.
  15. Marketers are responsible for the side effects their products cause.
  16. Marketing begins before the product is created.
  17. Marketing is not an emergency. It’s a planned, thoughtful exercise that started a long time ago and doesn’t end until you’re done.
  18. Marketing is the way your people answer the phone, the typesetting on your bills and your returns policy.
  19. Marketing that works is marketing that people choose to notice.
  20. Most marketers create good enough and then quit. Greatest beats good enough every time.
  21. One disappointed customer is worth ten delighted ones.
  22. Organizations that manage to deal directly with their end users have an asset for the future.
  23. People all over the world, and of every income level, respond to marketing that promises and delivers basic human wants.
  24. People are selfish, lazy, uninformed and impatient. Start with that and you’ll be pleasantly surprised by what you find.
  25. People don’t buy what they need. They buy what they want.
  26. Products that are remarkable get talked about.
  27. Reminding the consumer of a story they know and trust is a powerful shortcut.
  28. Share of wallet is easier, more profitable and ultimately more effective a measure than share of market.
  29. There are more rich people than ever before, and they demand to be treated differently.
  30. Traditional ways of interrupting consumers (TV ads, trade show booths, junk mail) are losing their cost-effectiveness. At the same time, new ways of spreading ideas (blogs, permission-based RSS information, consumer fan clubs) are quickly proving how well they work.
  31. What people want is the extra, the emotional bonus they get when they buy something they love.
  32. You can game the social media in the short run, but not for long.
  33. You can’t fool all the people, not even most of the time. And people, once unfooled, talk about the experience.
  34. You market when you hire and when you fire. You market when you call tech support and you market every time you send a memo.
  35. You’re not in charge. And your prospects don’t care about you.
  36. Your best customers are worth far more than your average customers.

Ensuring Your Success Online

99% of network marketers fail online.. it's not a good statistic. I believe the reason why so many people fail online is because there is just so much information out there. When I first started online I bought ebook after ebook looking for a good way to make money online.

One ebook would say this is the best thing to do then another ebook would say something completely different. I just kept reading and learning and ended up going around in circles.

What I realised was.. after about 6 months I had learned A LOT! I had spent hours and hours of time reading and learning about how to make money online.

It wasn't until later down the track that I realised something very important - learnings what caused me to make money online.

1. Focus
When I stopped everything and just focused on one thing at a time, I realised I was actually much more productive.

2. Have fun
Do something you enjoy! Have fun! It won't seem like work. If you find something you love, you will never work a day in your life.

3. Add value
I realised that the rich don't get rich from taking money from the poor. They get rich by helping other people get rich. (I realise everyone has different beliefs and I will not get into that in this post) So when I started mentoring people and helping them achieve results I noticed a huge change.

4. Celebrate your successes
This one is really important. For a while I didn't even really think about how much I was learning, I was thinking about how confused I was and I didn't know what to do. When I focused on one thing at a time it was much easier to gage how I was doing.

Everytime I felt like I was happy with what I had done I would celebrate my success. Celebrate everything you're happy about - no matter how small.

Now celebrating doesn't have to be going out for dinner or going out to watch a movie…a celebration can just be yelling out woohooo in excitement.

The more you celebrate the easier it is to stay on track, there are always bumps along the road. When you have recently celebrated your success you feel a lot better and it's actually easier to solve those "bumps along the road".

To this day I still celebrate my successes - no matter how small. In fact yesterday I was having some troubles with a training video.. I eventually figured out how to fix it and when I did I stood up, yelled out "woohooo" and put my fist in the air in excitement.

Celebrate it how ever you like! The happier you are, the easier things seem to be!

When you focus, have fun, add value and celebrate your successes amazing things can happen!

Email Marketing using Auto-Responders - Building your DOWNLINE

Auto-responders, are they powerful enough to build your down-line? I am here to tell you; YES they are one of the most powerful ways to market products online!

All successful online marketing businesses use Autoresponders because they are a great tool. They are really quite amazing they manage all of your follow ups for you. The only thing you have to do is create a message and set a time interval for when it should be sent.

It’s all automated so that gives you time to do more important things for your business!

Now what you should do if you are using autoresponders is create an opt-in page. When people opt-in to your list your autoresponder will automatically send them an email.

The email can be as simple as thanking them for subscribing to your list, or you could even go one better and send them some great information. Just make sure you don’t spam your list!

My recommendation is to create some helpful messages giving out free information and send them out about 2-3 times per week. By giving out free helpful information to your subscribers it will increase the chance of gaining the trust of your list.

If you have no idea on which autoresponder to use I suggest that you use AWeber, I have been using this website for a very long time and I have had no troubles what so ever.

There is something that I must point out to you. DON’T PITCH YOUR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY IN YOUR MESSAGES. The trick is to gradually start introducing a problem over a space of time which will build up their interest and then provide the solution to their problem!

That is how simple it is to market using Autoresponders, if you do it correctly. If you don’t listen to me you will be sorry, if you go ahead and start pitching your opportunity…you will fail and you don’t want that.

Personally I make my messages as interesting as I possibly can and after 2-3 weeks I start introducing my sales message. I do this because by that time I have gained my lists trust that I am giving them good information.

I am not going to go in to great detail on how to make your messages interesting but a few hints I have is spend the same amount of time thinking of a subject heading as you do writing the email.

If you have a bad subject heading, guess what your open rate will be horrible. Try to make your messages personalized also. There are plenty of ways to personalize your messages with AWeber so I suggest you have a look.

Also don’t make your messages look like a novel keep them relatively short with small paragraphs so it makes your emails more appealing.

So what are you waiting for? Be smart start marketing using Autoresponders! I wish you the best of luck…GO MAKE SOME MONEY!

MLM Prospecting - It Sucks… Unless you do it the right way and Make Money from the Start

If you’ve been riding the MLM highway, I’m sure you can agree having to make cold calls is no easy task, especially if you are making no money and not even sure if all this work you are pouring in is ever going going to ever pay off.

In order to succeed in Network Marketing, you need to use a marketing system that exposes your business to a wide range of people.

If you can do that then all you have to do is hold out financially till your prospects start moving though your marketing funnel and the commissions start flowing into your bank account.

However, the problem is, most people moving into Network Marking are coming across from a “JOB”.

And we all know what that means?

“Just Over Broke”

On average if you are “Just Over Broke” then you probably have enough money for the next week or two before you either have to work again or you are living on the street.

Honestly, whatever any MLM Guru tells you, if you really want to make the sort of money that they make, you really need to put in a good 2 months of full time work.

For the average person, this is not possible.

So they don't see instant results and end up quitting.

What they really need is a marketing system where they can start earning cash straight away (so they can quit their day job) while they build a residual down line.

This system has been used over and over again to sponsor even the poorest of people and make them top sponsors in their company. (Why do you hear the rages to riches story so often in Network Marketing?)

We call it the reverse funnel system and I’m just so grateful I stumbled across it in my life time.

I am grateful for my success if you are too, please leaving a comment and tell the world what you are grateful for in your success.

Happy Downline Building,

Tom Miller

Tips when marketing your opportunity - OVER DELIVER!

If you are going to market your business or opportunity by making big promises then I have some advice for you. One of the best things you can do after you have made some big promises is…OVER DELIVER.

This concept is simple yet effective. If you over deliver all of your customers will be ecstatic to receive the extra bonuses. Now there is an up-side to this and I will explain it in brief detail. The up-side…is of course, Word of Mouth.

I’m sure you all already know what I mean by over deliver because you are all smart people, but I’m just going to further indent the meaning in to your brain.

Over-delivering means to surprise your customers do more than what you promised, give them a BONUS. Your mission is to stun and amaze, you can do this just by over-delivering! It’s that simple!

Not back to this Word of Mouth concept, it can make OR break your reputation with the public. Either way it has the potential to improve your relationship with your customers/leads or destroy your reputation making it hard for you to re-surface.

Keep one thing in mind and word of mouth will not destroy your reputation. Put yourself in your readers shoes, they want to be treated with respect and have their questions answered.

If you do the exact opposite then guess what, say good-bye to your reputation. Now I am going to link you to Seth Godin’s fantastic blog. The post I am linking you to will further explain Word of Mouth and the potential it has!

Enjoy and take care.

What is The Best Compensation Plan? - I look for..

So I hear the same thing from nearly every network marketer, I’m sure you’ve all heard it.. “My opportunity has the best compensation plan”

Today I am going to tell you things I look for when trying to find a “good” compensation plan.

1. How many people are working part time and making some money within their first month

2. Does the compensation plan continually change? If so, I stay away because obviously they can’t make up their minds therefore it musn’t be working too well.

3. How long have the “leaders” been around for? If they don’t stay there long that’s not a good sign to me. I like to see leaders who have stayed there a long time.

I’m going to be completely honest with you here.. it doesn’t matter how good your opportunity is, how good your compensation plan is or how much money your business has, it all depends on YOU.

Network marketing comes from “Marketing” most people in network marketing just assume they can do marketing. If you just follow what your upline says you will most likely fail (unless your upline really knows what they’re doing and shares that with you).

Most network marketers actually end up failing with network marketing even though they did EVERYTHING their upline told them to do.

The majority of people struggle, I believe it’s because the so called “gurus” don’t want us average people to know the secrets.

Well it wasn’t until I accidentally stumbled across the secrets that I finally stopped struggling with my network marketing opportunity. You need to follow a proven system that works that uses the secrets that the "gurus" are trying to hide from us.

That is why we have been working so hard on Easy Network Marketing Leads. We have developed a system that helps you apply the secrets we stumbled across to get almost an unlimited amount of leads without making any cold calls.

Anyway so there is no “perfect compensation plan” it depends on what you’re looking for. Being successful in network marketing is all about whether or not you follow a proven system and take consistent action everyday!
