Today I found something that really intrigued me. First of all surrounding yourself in a supportive environment is very important to anyones success.

It has played a huge role in my success at such a young age. I am so grateful my parents have been supportive with EVERYTHING I have done… even if they didn’t really understand it at times.

Anyway back to what I found today… Chet Holmes, the author behind “The Ultimate Sales Machine” is currently working with his daughter Amanda Holmes to promote his book and her singing career.

I hope they start using more web 2.0 strategies other than YouTube to get massive exposure. There is heaps they can do to boost this up to a whole new level. Thats what we teach in the Easy Network Marketing Leads membership area.

Branding yourself, is it really that important? The answer is… Yes. Why you ask? Because if you brand yourself rather than just brand your product if you decide to create another product, the product will be known as a product you made.

If you just brand your product they will just think ‘oh well it’s just some other cheap product that won’t help us.’ It is important to actually build a relationship with your viewers.

Think about this for a second, someone talks to you, you have just met them they introduce themselves; give you a chance to introduce yourself. Then straight away they try to sell their product to you.

You wouldn’t buy would you? Come on be honest, you wouldn’t. So what makes you think people will be different towards you. You have to brand yourself so people actually know who you are and can trust you.

I have created a video about Branding Yourself not your Product on YouTube, now it is poor quality because of the lighting. It was just a quick video I made just before it turned dark, my lights were under the stairs so I decided to quickly make one.

In the video I explain a lot of things about Branding and why you should Brand Yourself, not your product.

I hope that you understand branding is very important if you want to sell more than one product. So go out and start building relationships with your leads and viewers, when you become successful you will be thankful you did.

I get this question a lot in interviews. And at first I didn’t really think too much about it. But now, knowing the answer to this question “is the reason for my success”.

The better quality your prospects you generate (and talk to) the better business will be for you in the long run. (i.e. More profit)

Yeah I’ve sponsored the excited ones that promise the world and say they are going to make my organization huge (overnight)

Yeah I’ve sponsored the ones just after New Year’s who have made their new year’s resolution to become successful in business.

Yeah I’ve sponsored the ones around March who just feed off the buzz from the New Year (but quickly dies down in the new season.)

I know a lot of newbie network marketers would kill to have these kinds of people in their organization however, let me tell you they are the worst.

They will kill your down line overnight.

One guy decided to quit and rang around to tell everyone he was quitting and caused another 4 to quit as well…

What a dream crusher he was.

Show me the person/prospect that is dedicated and shows up on the first unofficial meeting that is looking for an opportunity. He is looking and is ready to go at a time of year when most people are distracted with Christmas, or Easter.

The guy who wants to talk on the phone just to touch base at Christmas or Easter…

This is the guy I want to talk to…
That is the perfect prospect
Because everybody is excited around January.
And everybody is excited around March. But, the people you speak to around Christmas time of year that is when you find some of your best business builders.

I know at one stage in your life, all of you have lost your drive for what you were doing. Your motivation was not there anymore, so in this blog post I will be telling you how to keep that motivation or if you have already lost it, how to regain it!

First I would like to show you a YouTube video I found on Motivation.

Now you all know Motivation is the key to success right? If you didn’t, well now you do, it is probably the most important thing to keep your goals and dreams alive.

If you don’t have any motivation what so ever, I suggest you sit down and have a long hard think about what you want in life and start setting some goals. If you have no idea where to start I have a website where you can learn how to set goals.

If you want to stay motivated and stick with what you started there are a few techniques which will help you along the way.

1. Give yourself incentives and rewards every time you complete one of your goals.

2. Be specific and give yourself specific instructions. You will work better when they know exactly what’s expected.

3. Use short and long term goals, they are both very important, all your goals don’t have to be huge they can be tiny things that are very easy to accomplish.

4. DEADLINES are very important if you don’t give yourself deadlines then you will just keep putting everything off.

5. Try to have fun while you are doing your work, this will definitely help you become motivated because it doesn’t feel like work, it’s FUN.

6. STAY FOCUSED on the outcome you wish to achieve.

7. If you can’t figure something out don’t lose confidence, just move on to a different subject and come back to it, your brain will be refreshed and you will figure out your problem easily.

8. Be prepared to be let down because every once in awhile you will be let down, but you can’t let it get to you.

Once you have these eight techniques completed you will be far more motivated and remember, if you are starting to lose motivation, watch some YouTube videos, remind yourself why you are doing what you are doing and you should start to feel motivated again!

I know as a Network Marketer that there is barely enough time in the day to get everything you want done. Organisation is very important in order for you to manage your time effectively.

Now I want you to think back, has there ever been a time where you had saved some important information on your computer and then it took you over 10 minutes just to find what you were looking for?

If this has ever happened to you, I’m guessing you were getting very frustrated when you couldn’t find the information in a hurry. I will be teaching you a new way to organize your information effectively, which in term makes it a lot easier to find what you are looking for.

How can I organize my information effectively?

This new way of organizing your information is called ‘Mind Mapping’. It has been scientifically proven that the human brain can remember information a lot better when the information is made accessible in a structured and graphical format.

I am going to ask you to do something in order to implement this information. I would like you to go to this website and download FreeMind. It is a free mind mapping program.

Now that you have this program you will be able to store information in a graphical and structured format thus improving your time management skills. Mind Maps are not designed just for you to store notes, it can be used for every aspect of your life.

Personally I use mine to store my passwords, articles I publish, Ideas, Copywriting Notes, important notes about Network Marketing and much much more.

Example

I have created an example of a Mind Map to show you, it is a very simple and basic outline. Here is a picture of the basic Mind Map.

How you can create a Mind Map

I am going to provide you with a little explanation on how to create a Mind Map. Firstly you open up the program but I doubt I even had to say that since you are all intelligent people.

Ok when you create a new Mind Map there is a Main Topic bubble in the middle, In my example I named it..Example. Now to create subtopics all you have to do is simply click on the bubble then press Insert on your keyboard.

Now as you can see I have created a subtopic named Password List, now in the example I have a subtopic for each of my accounts. You don’t have to do this, you can simply just click on the Password List subtopic and type notes in the space provided at the bottom of the page.

Advice about Mind Mapping

Now just for a little hint which you will be thankful for if your computer comes across some technical difficulties. Every time you enter a substantial amount of information you should save your Mind Map. I encourage you to start creating a Mind Map and test out just how effective it is for yourself.

I believe it is a great way to store information, I currently use a program called Mindjet but it is a paid version. FreeMind is definitely capable of helping you improve your time management.

If you want to become successful it is important that you learn how to manage your time effectively. If you don’t, trust me, it will be your down fall. Have a great day

If you are a part of a team you will know that in order to become successful you have to work as a team and help better each other. You must work well with your team, motivate each other, give constructive criticism and most of all compliment your team!

Team building is one of the most important things you can do to become successful.

I was surfing through YouTube and I found an inspirational video about teamwork which I recommend you all watch. It is a great video and I am sure you will all enjoy it.

I am going to share some experiences that the team at Easy Network Marketing Leads have faced. At one stage Ben, Tom and I were all pumped to start up this business. Everything was going so well, we were all pitching in, congratulating each other and working as a unit.

One morning I woke up and walked downstairs to see Ben talking on the phone. He said to me that Tom’s best friend had passed away and Tom was leaving for England that night.

Now if we weren’t such a cohesive unit then something like that could have destroyed our dreams of helping everyone we can become successful on the internet. Tom is still in England to this day and we are still going strong.

Weekly conference calls and many different To-Do lists are helping our team stay as one and finish what we set out to do.

If you are a part of a team, I suggest you implement what is in the video if your team isn’t working well together. I wish you the best of luck in building up your team’s morale.

If you're targeting everyone you can you will most likely fail online! I've found when people target everyone they usually don't really get any clients / sales. I dont care if you're doing a home based business, internet marketing, network marketing or affiliate marketing this applies to everyone.

Sit down, figure out exactly who you want to target so you can begin to attract those people. So lets look at most network marketers… most network marketers who try to make money online email all their friends and let every one they possibly can know about their opportunity.

As you know by now that is completely wrong! That is one of the secrets we stumbled across that the "gurus" weren't telling us. If you haven't seen the secrets I highly recommend you watch them because you're really missing out.

Now when most of the network marketers out there are targetting EVERYONE, they don't really get results. When they sit down and target a specific person they're much more likely to attract that person.

You want the "right" kind of people in your business. Don't target family and friends, target people who are already doing network marketing… if you target people who have never done network marketing they most likely wont even do anything after you've sponsored them.

I can't stress this enough… BUILD THE RELATIONSHIP FIRST - don't even mention your opportunity until you have a good relationship and have built trust with your prospect. We've explained in the FREE 5 day video series why that is very important for your success.

So sit down, figure out EXACTLY who you want to target, who is the "right" person for you? Once you've that then only target those types of people. You will make more money and have more fun.
